I believe that is important for the Board of Education to make students their first priority, communicate effectively with the community, and work as a team toward the common goal of providing high quality cost efficient instruction and educational experiences for all of our children. As a parent, teacher, past Board of Education member and current Co-Chair of the Hampton-Scotland School Readiness Council, I have the skills, experience, and perspective necessary to do the job.

New Environmental Club at Hampton Elementary Funded

Hampton Elementary School will receive $1,700 grant from the Quinebaug-Shetucket Heritage Corridor to organize an Environmental Club for students in grades 4-6 that will focus on a new worm composting program for lunchroom refuse.
