Please join us for our first annual fall fling! On the evening of Saturday September 27 we will come together as a community and celebrate our wonderful slate of candidates for this November's election.

Your ticket purchase will help us fund our local efforts to elect not only our municipal slate but help support our efforts to re-elect Congressman Joe Courtney and elect Barack Obama and Joe Biden to the White House!

Tickets: $20 Individual, $35 per Couple.
Location: The Community Center at the Little River Grange. 164 Main Street, Hampton.(Next to Town Hall)

"Should the Town of Hampton apply, pursuant to General Statutes section 10-63a et seq., to the Regional School District No. 11 Board of Education, to institute a procedure for withdrawal of the Town of Hampton from Regional School District No. 11."

New Non-Discrimination Policy

The Board of Selectman at the September meeting passed a non-discrimination policy. The issue came up as part of the contracting process in the restoration of the Hampton Grange.

"RESOLVED that the Town of Hampton hereby adopts as its policy to support the nondiscrimination agreements and warranties required under Connecticut General Statutes:

The Town of Hampton ...(has a policy of)... nondiscrimination against persons on account of their race, color, religious creed, age, marital or civil union status, national origin, ancestry, sex, mental retardation, physical disability, or sexual orientation."
